Before I go any further just let me tell you that I’ve looked into lots of different methods for powering my home and not having to rely on paying the electric company.
My first thought had been Solar Energy. But given my location and the weather it just didn’t make much sense to me. Solar panels have to be outside to soak up the sun and so are susceptible to mother nature. I’d also considered using wind turbines and they just didn’t meet my needs.
